I was in your shoes a few months ago. I was in a blogging funk and I just couldn't find the time to keep it updated. My thought was that everyone who I wanted to share updates with was on Facebook, so I decided to keep brief updates on there and save myself some time. I love reading your blog, but I think you have to do what you think is best for you. ;0)

OH Tammy! I would HATE to see you stop blogging!!! Facebook is cool...but SO NOT THE SAME as this. You can't really get to know anyone through FB. Besides, if it weren't for your BLOG, I would have never met you in the first place. FB, in my opinion, is not any kind of a substitute for a blog. We want to hear your funny and sappy stories and see all the pictures to go along with it. Besides, Brooklyn needs her Mason fix everynow and then! hee hee
I really, really, really hope you don't decide to quit the blog. I completely understand putting it on the back burner for a while...but deleting it is like deleting your personal diary...your history.

I've been debating this issue myself. Most of my family is on FB and don't even check our blog.
My dilemma is how I keep all those wonderful snap shots of our lives saved that I posted on the blog?
I still have not made up my mind yet either....we should discuss- over chocolate custard! =P

Peanut, consider your blog as practice in writing. You never know when you might want to write again. Besides we would miss all the pics. We are proud of you. Stand firm to the end.

Blog! I am so mad at myself that I have been such a slacker. You're right, FB makes you not want to... but I think our kids will look back and be glad for all the narratives with photos. But I love reading your blog... I'd be sad if it weren't around anymore!!

KEEP BLOGGING!! I'm on FB and rarely get on. When people send me messages thru FB it takes me forever to get back to them because that means I have to get on FB. I would never know what is going on with you all if you stop. I have your site saved as a Favorite.

TAMMY! I think you should take a little blog break, and come back in the fall! Facebook is wonderful, BUT really you can't (and shouldn't) write about your family in such detail... I enjoy reading your family stories, and seeing your pictures!!! You can't let all of your faithful blog followers down..... (No pressure or anything). Ha, ha! I know it is a lot of work on your part, but you are so creative and the stories are classic Sawyer moments.

I vote BLOG! I struggle w/the same issue and certainly don't update our blog as much as you do your's... but when updates are posted they are definitely a JOY to read Missy. I call ours the family "Newsletter". Don't need/want every FB "friend" reading all that--- but that's ME.
You do what you want...what you really, really want!

Do NOT stop blogging. I have been following your blog forever and it is the only way I keep track on you, Chris and the kids. I know I have never really commented but, I love the stories you share, the pictures and all. In short you are a gifted writer and I love to read your blog.
